“All Shall Be Well”: Pilgrimaging through Tampere with Julian of Norwich

Hiirenkorvalla olevan oksan takana on vaaleasävyinen ikoni, jossa on Jeesus.

What does this well-known phrase by medieval mystic and writer Julian of Norwich (c. 1342/1343–after 1416) mean, and where does it originate from? Welcome to explore Julian's teachings on this brief pilgrimage, which ends with a simple communion.

This pilgrimage will be led by Dr. Godelinde Gertrude Perk, whose research has focused on Julian for over a decade, and by Rev. Jussi Holopainen.
The walk will start at 17:30 from the main door of Alexander Church; we will make our way via Näsinkallio and Tampella to the Old Church, where communion will take place at 19:00.
Bring a water bottle, your own snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing.

Register by text message by Mon 25 May to Jussi at 0408048105.
Organized by ICCK and PilgrimageTampere. Warmly welcome!
