Boards and expert groups
In the decision-making of the federation of parishes, boards of directors and expert groups made up of parishioners are involved. They participate in the activities of the parish association's units, planning and developing them together with the office holders.
Committees and youth influence group
The decision-makers are also assisted by committees whose task is to serve as expert bodies in the preparation of matters for the Joint Church Council. The committees include experts appointed by elected officials and employees of the consortium.
The Youth Influencer Group enhances the participation and influence opportunities for young people in the decision-making and preparation processes of the Federation of Tampere Evangelical Lutheran Parishes, as well as in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities of the parishes.
In connection with decision-making, a child impact assessment is also conducted, meaning the decision is evaluated from the perspective of children's welfare. In this context, 'children' refers to all individuals under the age of 18.
