Whether you're in need of food assistance or simply looking for affordable meals, our congregations are here to support you. We provide aid to individuals and families with low incomes, and church membership is not a requirement. In addition to food assistance, we organize weekly, budget-friendly meals at various locations in the city, open to everyone.

The Tampere Food Bank

The Tampere Food Bank plays a vital role in addressing food insecurity. It serves as a central hub, collecting edible surplus food from local stores, food manufacturers, and professional kitchens. This collected food is then distributed to those in need. We also accept various product donations and raise funds to purchase additional food items. Volunteer Opportunities and Employment Pathways

Our food bank provides meaningful opportunities for volunteers to contribute to our mission. Additionally, we offer pathways to employment for those who are currently unemployed. Join us in making a difference in our community.
