Families with children
Our parishes offer activities for children and families, including Sunday school in English and music groups for young children.
ICCK Sunday school
The International Congregation of Christ the King (ICCK) often offers Sunday school for young children during its English-language Sunday service. The service is held every Sunday at 4 pm at the Old Church on Central Square.
Children can hear Bible stories, sing, make crafts and spend time together in a welcoming group. For more information, contact the Reverend Kati Eloranta.

Church music playgroups
Church music playgroups, known in Finnish as kirkkomuskari, are available for babies and children aged 0–6. Children and adults sing, play, move and explore music together. Some groups also include an instrument carousel for children aged 4–6.

Cooperation with early childhood education and schools
Tampere Evangelical Lutheran Parishes work with early childhood education providers and schools in ways that respect different religious and non-religious backgrounds.
This English-language video introduces the basket model used to plan cooperation between parishes, early childhood education and schools. The model groups different forms of cooperation according to their purpose and religious content, helping educators choose activities that are suitable for their children or students.
