Bach’s motets — Lobet dem Herrn, alle Heiden, Komm, Jesu, komm and Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf — are accompanied by the Espoo Baroque ensemble.
Candomino is a chamber choir of around 40 young adults from Espoo. Its repertoire ranges from Renaissance music to contemporary works, with a focus on fresh interpretations of choral music from different periods.
Founded in 1967, the choir has gained recognition through successful concert tours and competitions in Finland and around the world. Its discography includes more than 20 recordings, and Candomino has premiered numerous works by contemporary composers. The choir, which will celebrate its 60th anniversary next year, is conducted by Esko Kallio.
