Genealogy is the study of family history and ancestry.
The Regional Central Registry of Tampere writes certificates for genealogy purposes from our parishes’ church books. At this time we write certificates only in Finnish and Swedish.
How to order
You can place an order
- by email keskusrekisteri.tampere@evl.fi or

Please include the following information of the person you are researching:
- full name
- date of birth
- date of death if known
- place of birth or death or moving date to or from our parish
- any information that will make locating said person in the books easier
Price information and payments
Genealogy orders are priced by the hour: the base fee of 75 € covers 30 minutes of work and after that, an additional fee of 40 € will be charged per each starting 30 min period. A delivery fee is added to the total. You can set a price limit for your order and we will write the report accordingly.
Before placing an order from outside the EU, please make sure that your bank can process IBAN (International Bank Account Number) payments. At this time we cannot accept any other payment methods than bank transfer.
