Teisko Cemetery
Teisko Cemetery is a small historic cemetery beside Teisko Church, in use since 1787. Its graves and memorials reflect more than two centuries of local burial traditions.

About the cemetery
Teisko Cemetery has been in use since 1787. The adjacent Teisko Church was completed in 1788, and its belfry ten years later. Both were designed by master church builder Matti Åkerblom.
The cemetery covers 1.7 hectares. The grounds form a historically significant whole reflecting burial traditions and memorials from different periods.
Teisko Cemetery does not have a separate funeral chapel. Funeral services are held in the adjacent Teisko Church.
War graves and memorials
The cemetery has a memorial to those who fell in the wars of 1939–1944. The black granite memorial stone was designed by architect Bertel Strömmer and erected in 1951.
The memorial bears the inscription:
“Love of country, longing, sacrifice, gratitude.”
