The Vatiala Chapel of Blessing dates back to 1960, with both a large and a small chapel housed within the same building. The chapel was designed by architect Viljo Rewell, and the furnishings were provided by Olli Borg.

Graves

Coffin or urn graves are available in both old and new sections. The woodland cemetery is full, and no new burial plots are being allocated from there.

Memorial section

The cemetery has a memorial section and a memorial site for those buried elsewhere. The non-denominational area is located in the immediate vicinity of the cemetery.

Information about the area

The cemetery covers an area of 25 hectares, with the woodland cemetery spanning 1.5 hectares. The cemetery plan was created by Veikko Rauhala.
